The Send Font to RIP option lets you add special fonts to RIP-QueueAn organized list of jobs that are printed on a first-in first-out (FIFO) basis.. Most Double-byte, Composite, and Encrypted Fonts must be added by interpreting a PostScript file that contains the font information.

Adding a Font Using Send Font to RIP

1. Click Setup > PostScript > Send Font to RIP. This opens a browser window.
2. Browse to the PostScript file that contains the information for the font you want to add.
3. Click Open. RIP-Queue will open the file, interpret it, and then add it.

NOTE: The only way you can verify that the font was added successfully is to process a file that uses that font.
